Green Eggs

You know that Dr. Suess book Green Eggs and Ham. Well I thought that green eggs were fictional until Mike became a farmer and bought chickens. He says he bought the chickens for year supply but I know it is because he thinks that if you live in Queen Creek you have to be a farmer. Well anyways we got our first green egg today. Mike and I were so excited. As you can see there is not much going on in our life when a green egg gives us reason to celebrate. Well I have to make this a short update because Tate is crying because he needs fed and Brody just peed all over my bathroom. The joys of parenthood never stop :) . I promise to post pictures soon. Tate is getting soooo big.

We haven't eaten the egg yet. An no we don't live on a farm. We just have a regular tract home and have the chickens in a corner of the backyard.

What an odd thing to keep in your yard. I never thought you would be the chicken keepin' kind. And, I can't believe there's really such a thing as a green egg.
