For halloween this year the boys were super heroes. Brody wanted to be Batman, Tate was Spiderman, and I picked Superman for Rex. I love Halloween, I think it is so much fun to see all the little kids get dressed up in their costumes. And I love when I can have a theme for my kids. I know it's weird but I think it is fun. I don't know how much longer I will be able to continue the theme thing though because every year the boys get more and more opinionated. The boys got to wear their costumes tons this year. On Thursday night we had a ward carnival were everyone dressed up, Brody wore his costume to preschool Friday morning where the family was invited to come and watch the kids sing halloween song, and then last night we had some friends over to have soup and rolls and then all the kids headed outside to trick-or-treat. I love that my kids are still small and were ready to be done trick-or-treating after one street. I found myself encouraging them to go further when I realized that I really didn't need anymore sugar in the house. Now I am just trying to control myself from eating all their chocolate so I don't gain all my baby weight back. Well I hope everyone else had a fun holiday.
