Then this...
and now this..
I can't believe my baby is one. It seems like yesterday when I was sitting on my bathroom floor holding the pregnancy test crying because I was so scared to be a mother of three kids all under the age of 3 1/2. Then that crazy Saturday when I insisted on going to Target even though I was having contractions because I was 5 weeks early and this couldn't be the real thing yet. And then the next morning when my doctor came into my hospital room and told me the tributaline wasn't working and that my baby was going to be born that day and there was a pretty good chance that because he was a boy there might be some complications. I will never forget the fear that went through my body when they told me his lungs weren't quite developed and he would have to be in the NICU for a while. From the beginning this little guy sure has liked to surprise us. But we are glad he did. Our family wouldn't be the same without him. Some of my favorite things about him right now are; his beautiful eyelashes, his feathery blonde hair, his love for his family, his love to wave bye bye, and just like his brothers his love for the outdoors. He is changing everyday and I love him so much.
