Born February 24. Weighing 6lbs. 2oz. 19 inches long
Although he made his ways into this world 5 weeks early and had a bit of a rough start, we are so blessed to have this sweet little angel in our home. This past week has definitely been the hardest week of my life but through this trial I have been able to see the Lords hand in my life in so many situations. I have also learned how amazing my husband is. He has done things this week that I don't think I would have been able to do. He is my best friend and the most AMAZING father. I also don't know what I would have done without my parents. My mom came to the hospital when I was sick and helped take some of Rex's feedings when Mike couldn't be there. That meant so much to me because it was killing me not to be able to be with my baby. And thinking that some stranger was bonding with him. And my dad is the greatest papa on Earth the kids had a blast playing with him. Now we are all finally home and as soon as Brody and Tate, who came down sick two days ago, get better we can finally be one big happy family!!
I have to tell you a couple of Funny things Brody has said this week. The hospital we were at is brand new and the parking lot is a bit of a maze well if you know Mike, you know that patience isn't his strongest attribute so he jumped a curb to get to the door. Well the next day Brody was telling everyone that I was in the hospital because daddy went over the big jump and hurt mommy. Then when the boys came and visited and I was still hooked up to my IV he looked at the IV and said, "mommy are you a doctor?" That kid makes me laugh so hard.

He is so tiny! He reminds me of Sydnee as a new born. Looks like I need to get you a new gift because he is wearing half of it in the picture! Sorry we did not come over today, crew is sick and I did not want to bring him around the baby. Hope you are feeling better!
so precious! I LOVE the name REX too!!! How fun for you. You'll have to let me know how it is with 3! I'm scared to make that plunge...but with a face that cute, it makes me baby hungry!
I was seriously crying reading your post. You're sweet husband and family! Wow! Congratulations and I'm so glad that Rex is home and that all is well. You have the cutest boys! Scott and I miss you guys!

Congrats! He's adorable! I can't believe we both went so early? What happened with you? With me they couldn't get my blood pressure down. Sounds like you were a bit more complex?? Fill me in when you get a sec. Oh, and I call dibs on the marriage of our two bundles!!
