Although it is still 115 degrees outside. Today marked the official ending to our summer vacation. Brody started half-day kindergarten. Because of Brody's late birthday, we have decided that we are going to put him in half-day kindergarten this year and then next year put him in full day kindergarten. Brody was soooooo excited to go to the BIG school. I on the other hand was really nervous for him and had to keep holding back the tears, sometimes he can be so shy and I was just praying that this would be a good experience and not completely overwhelm him. When I went to pick him up he told me that he really liked playing on the playground and coloring. Other than that I didn't get much info from him but he did say he had fun and wanted to go back tomorrow. So I will call this day a success! I can't believe I have a child this old!!!!
Tate was feeling a little left out so he wanted in the picture also!
Brody waiting to go inside with his teacher. It was so hot waiting. I tried to get Brody to wear shorts but he insisted on wearing long pants!

I can't believe he is old enough for school! And I can't believe school started in July! It seems to get earlier every year!
Oh!! Did you cry a little?! What a big day! I cant belive he is old enough!
Congratulations Amber! You survived a really hard day and did it with flying colors! When Karli started school I realized something: The Teacher is now the authority, not Mom. Dang. I got really good at talking with teachers and having them enforce whatever we needed on the homefront. Good luck, and have fun!
