Huber Reunion

Every year, all the families from my mother-in-law's side come together in Heber AZ for a huge family reunionl. Mike had to work this week so I almost didn't go. You have to understand, I come from a family of 5 girls and I have a mother who has a phobia with dirt, so we really didn't camp much growing up, instead my dad built my mom a cabin so they could enjoy the mountains with out all the dirt and bugs. So, I was a little nervous about setting up the tent and camping without my eagle scout by my side but, when I saw that it was suppose to be 113 degrees here in Queen Creek on Thursday, I decided to put my fears aside and head up the mountain. I made Michael show me how to set up the tent the night before so the set up was actually a breeze. The boys got filthy dirty and loved every moment of it. I enjoyed playing cards, sitting around having conversation with the other gals, and eating really good food. Although I was having a ball I really missed my hubby so when I saw that big white truck pull up Friday night, I almost cried I was so excited. I found out this weekend that although I can do hard things like camping with my three boys by myself, everything is so much easier and more fun when my sweet husband is there beside me.

Brody and Collin learning how to be cowboys!

Some of the adults enjoying the festivities.

Tate preparing for the tug-of-war by flexing his muscles.

Brody Loved the tug-of-war

Just hanging out.
