First Cavities

Well there are certain things about yourself that you want to pass on and other that you would prefer your children don't get. My teeth were one that I was hoping my kids wouldn't get. Come on I have had like a million cavities and a root canal all before I was 20. Mike on the other hand has had very few cavities and no he does not brush better than me! So, I was rooting for my kids to take after dad in this case. After their first cleaning, Brody had 0 cavities but Tate had 2. Darn it looks like Tate took after my genes on this one. Yesterday Tate and I went and visited Grandpa Curtis and got our teeth fixed. I was really nervous all day but, surprisingly Tate was a champ and sat on that chair and hardly moved a muscle. Hopefully having two cavities on his first cleaning is not a sign of future events!

He is such a cute boy! Who can be nervous when you get to see your grandpa when you go to the dentist?? That's how I always felt growing up!
