Reflection

I don't know if it is because I turned 29 last week or what, but I have been reflecting a lot about my life and I have come to some realizations.
1. For the first time in my life I feel old. This is how my week has gone,
a. while shopping for an outfit for my 10 year reunion this girl, who I thought was at least in her mid thirties, told me hers was coming up also.
b. my brother-in-law accidentally called me old.
c. I just turned 29, which is really close to 30 and far away from 20. It was a wonderful birthday, Mike spoiled me rotten!

d. I have my 10 year reunion tonight!

2. I really am Lucky. I come from an amazing family and I married into an amazing family!
Mikes brother Chad and wife Jessica have been in town this week and we have had fun getting all the kids together.

3. When I was in college I remember seeing this little kid at the grocery store filthy dirty and Melinda and I saying how we would never be that kind of mother! Well some how I think I have now become THAT mother.

4. After my longest break yet, I am starting to think that the time might be getting close to add another little one into our home. By the way this is not an announcement, I am just saying that the thought is starting to cross my mind again.

who knows maybe this time we could get one of these cuties!

Amber you look great and definatley don't look your age so you don't have to worry. I hope you guys have such a fun time tonight. It will be interesting to see how it goes. We had fun seeing everyone this week as well. I love the pick of all the kids.

Hope you had a fun birthday! You look so pretty in that picture of you and and Rex. You should totally jump on the baby bandwagon.

You are such a pretty mama! Seriously, last time I saw you I thought, "Why can't I look that good after having kids?" And I only have one! I love the picture of the grandkids with Bentley standing in. haha. Looks like fun!

I turned 28 this year and feel the same way. I just bought a shirt the other day from Ann Taylor... I don't know why but that makes me feel old.

That's hilarious!! You're hardly one of THOSE mothers. I miss you tons! I had such a vivid dream about you being here visiting me, and it made me miss you even more. I'm sorry to say I missed your birthday, but my excuse is that we are expanding our family, and I'm not feeling so hot! Sorry!! But happy belated (really belated) birthday! And you aren't old!
