Last weekend Mike and I took a little trip up to San Francisco to visit Chad and Jess. It was so much fun. Teri, the greatest mother-in- law was nice enough to watch my kids so it really was a vacation from everything! We convinced Kyle and Kelsey to come along and join the party. Chad and Jessica were the greatest tour guides and took us all around showing us the sites.
The weather was freezing so, everywhere we went I ordered hot chocolate, my favorite was the peppermint hot chocolate from Ghirardelli.
You can see Alcatraz in the distance.
I tried my first bowl ever of clam chowder in a very yummy sourdough bread bowl at fisherman's warf.
Here is Chad and Michael in front of the house they lived in when Brent was going to school here about 25 years ago.
One morning we got up really early to stand in line to eat at Mama's, it was the best french toast I have ever eaten.
We couldn't go to San Francisco without riding on the trolly.
One afternoon Chad took Mike and Kyle on a motorcycle ride down the coast.
We went to the local farmers market and tasted the BEST pears! And by the way isn't little J the cutest thing ever!
The Golden Gate Bridge was such an amazing site.
This little town had the best view of the city and some really fun places to window shop.
On Sunday we went to Muir Woods and walked around it was gorgeous!
And I made Chad take us to the Full House row. Who didn't love that show?
Sorry for all the pictures but it was just such a fun trip and I couldn't leave any of it out. Thanks Chad and Jess for being such great hosts. We are so excited to see you guys in a few days!
